Advanced strength and conditioning practitioners need a wide range of knowledge, practical skills and applied techniques to meet the requirements of such a highly specialised role. This course will prepare you to evaluate the physical elements of sport performance or health settings, developing tailored strength and conditioning interventions, as well as your practical coaching skills through experiential learning.

This course offers a progressive and challenging learning experience, grounded in real-world experiential learning. You’ll evaluate evidence-based coaching models and have a number of real-world practical opportunities to deliver them.

Work placements
You’ll be able to arrange a work placement as a key component of your course. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career – and is an opportunity to undertake applied work to improve your practice in a relevant setting. Previously our students have worked in professional clubs and teams, in some cases at sporting organisations around the world.
Live projects
You’ll work with real athletes as part of your programme of study. This gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding – as well as your confidence as a practitioner in the field.
