Summary
This semester program is designed for undergraduate students and introduces the basic concepts and models of modern financial theories via lectures, texts, case studies and company visits. Students learn how assets and companies are valuated.
Projections of future cash flows, capital budgeting, the trade-off between risk and return, risk management, and the valuation of securities are further courses offered in this program. The content of the classes is directly related to the needs of banks, insurance and financial companies. Practical work close to life in corporations is an important part of the program.
Teachers are professionals in their field of instruction and enjoy for the most part, doctoral expertise and many years of professional experience.
Lessons are held from Monday to Friday, with some exceptions on Saturday; and include on average eighth courses per week. French as foreign Language, is given in order to integrate students into the Swiss culture.
