Summary

The MMus Collaborative Creative Practice is a two year, full time course.

This innovative course brings together creative artists from Music and Drama, both students and staff, to devise new work, responding to a range of stimuli and opportunities. Through classes and projects, musicians will actively engage in cross-disciplinary collaborations, learning how to work together, appreciate each other’s art forms and maximise their intersection in creative activities. Alongside maintaining high levels of principal study work, students will be guided in their creative collaborations by professionals experienced in this world, learning first-hand about the dynamics of creative teams and artistic leadership. The focus is on creating new work, responding to particular situations and opportunities as they arise, with an emphasis on engaging the public with and through their work.
