Summary
Research supervision is available for applicants who wish to complete a postgraduate research degree at PhD (level 10, NFQ) or masters level of learning (level 9, NFQ).
Application and registration for Masters (Research) and PhDs is made through the School of Postgraduate Studies.
Prior to application, the prospective student should contact the School of Nursing and Midwifery for advice with regards to their research proposal.
The staff of the School and Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery are currently involved in a number of multi-disciplinary/agency research studies. Further information on these is available in the Staff profiles section
Support is also available for students who wish to prepare grant proposals for funding through the Health Research Board or other funding agencies.
