Summary
The application deadline for this course is **1 NOVEMBER 2023**. The intensive one-year MA programme trains postgraduate (or equivalent) students for a career in musical theatre. It provides a direct link into the profession by combining regular class work and one-to-one tuition with practical opportunities. Musical Theatre students have individual singing lessons, repertoire coaching and spoken word tutorials, as well as classes in voice and the spoken word, extended vocal techniques, dance, movement, acting, singing, improvisation, history of musical theatre, musicality, audition preparation and project work. They also take part in masterclasses and workshops with visiting professionals, the annual industry showcase, and in full end-of-year Musical Theatre productions accompanied by the Academy's orchestral ensembles.
