Summary
This is a specialist and intensive Diploma at Level 7 within the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (post-Masters). Candidates should have the potential and aspiration to succeed at the highest international standard. The deadline to apply for this course is 1st November 2023. The deadline for receipt of Orchestral Conducting first-round video recordings is 15 November 09:00 UK time. The Academy’s postgraduate conducting course is internationally recognised as one of the foremost programmes for training conductors. Our students have many opportunities to work with talented players and singers in a variety of settings, from two-piano workshops and intimate chamber ensembles to full symphony orchestra. Academy conductors work in a friendly, collaborative and focused environment which prepares them for professional conducting careers.
