Summary
Passing the second Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE 2) is an essential step in your route to qualifying as a solicitor, and the postgraduate certificate in SQE 2 Preparation is designed to prepare you for this.

This intense course will enhance the written and oral skills required to pass SQE 2 whilst also developing the professional skills that really matter to employers.

You will be taught by our outstanding teaching team, all of whom are experienced legal professionals who will provide you with excellent and personalised teaching in a dynamic and interactive teaching environment.

Our tutors will work with you to develop the five practical legal skills assessed in SQE 2.

You should choose the Postgraduate Certificate in SQE 2 Preparation Course if you want a course that only prepares you for SQE 2.

| Entry requirements | Students who enrol on this course will normally be required to have: a 2:2 from their law degree; or have undertaken a recognised SQE 1 preparation course; or If you have already successfully completed your LPC you may be able to qualify as a solicitor without completing a training contract if you successfully pass SQE2 and have completed 2 years qualifying work experience. NTU may admit a student with advanced standing beyond the beginning of a course, through an assessment of that student's prior learning, whether it is certificated or uncertificated. Our Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer Policy outlines the process and options available to these prospective students, such as recognising experiential learning or transferring to a similar course at another institution, otherwise known as credit transfer. All prospective students who wish to apply via Recognition of Prior Learning should initially contact the central Admissions and Enquiries Team who will be able to support you through the process. |
