This subject specialist programme has been rated as excellent by external examiners, students and school mentors over many years, with particular highlights being the high quality school placements with compassionate and expert mentoring; outstanding partnerships with museums, galleries and the wider arts community; thorough and proactive management and the quality assurance of the programme.
Because the course has been built around partnerships with primary, secondary and special schools, museums and galleries, community groups and artists, it offers you the opportunity to gain a PGCE in Secondary Art, Craft and Design Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
