University of Liverpool Management School’s Online MBA ranks in FT top 10
The Financial Times has placed the University of Liverpool Management School’s Online MBA in the top 10 in their recently published rankings of online MBA programs.
With their Online MBA ranking first overall for ‘career progression’, the University of Liverpool Management School excelled in alumni’s job seniority and the size of the organisations they now work for, compared with three years ago.
The average online MBA graduate saw an increase of 32% in their salary on completion from the online MBA to the present day.
Speaking about the Management School’s success, Director of Online Programs and Director of Studies Online MBA, Dr Lisa Day says, “I am delighted that the Online MBA programme has been ranked in the top 10 FT ranking. Inclusion in this ranking reflects the quality of our triple accredited Management School, the experience and expertise of our faculty, the diversity of our global students and the career progress of our alumni.”
She continues, “The Online MBA FT ranking underlines the University of Liverpool’s position as one of Europe’s leading providers of online postgraduate degrees.”
Based on ‘value for money’, the FT survey found the Management School’s Online MBA to be third overall by taking into consideration alumni salaries, scholarships, fees and other costs as reported by graduates.
‘International mobility’ and ‘carbon footprint’ were also areas of success as the School ranked fourth across both categories.
The University of Liverpool’s online MBA is delivered in partnership with Kaplan Open Learning. Commenting on the announcement, Nicola Pittman Managing Director of Kaplan Open Learning says, “We’re delighted to see the online MBA from the University of Liverpool Management School achieve this important external recognition by the Financial Times.”

The Financial Times Online MBA 2023 rankings were compiled following the submission of data and alumni surveys.
