University of Kent ranks well for subjects in prestigious rankings
The University of Kent has ranked well for subjects including Psychology, Law, Management and Business Administration in the recently released ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS).
This GRAS contains rankings of more than 5,000 universities in 55 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences.
In these rankings, the University of Kent’s subject listing is:
- Business Administration, ranked 76-100
- Ecology, ranked 201-300
- Economics, ranked 401-500
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering, ranked 301-400
- Law, ranked 151-200
- Management, ranked 101-150
- Political Sciences, ranked 151-200
- Psychology, ranked 76-100
- Sociology, ranked 101-150
- Telecommunication Engineering, ranked 76-100
These rankings are compiled using a range of academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of universities around the world. Data used includes research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality and international academic awards.
