Games and creative technology set to grow at University for the Creative Arts
Having secured £2 million funding to boost our games and creative technology offering, now is a great time to further your studies with UCA.
At University for the Creative Arts, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. And with the funding secured from the Office for Students, we are enhancing our ability to create highly skilled graduates and nurture them into future leaders of the rapidly expanding gaming, immersive technologies and creative computing sectors.
Funding will be invested into IT infrastructure and reimagined learning and research spaces at our vibrant Farnham campus. Facilities on the horizon include state-of-the-art motion capture and virtual reality studios. This is in addition to our already impressive computer games studios, which are packed with high-end PCs running software including Maya, Photoshop and Substance, and Unity and Unreal games engines.
As well as this, a number of new specialist pathways will be introduced in 2023. These include Independent Serious Games, Interface Interactive Design, Mobile App Design Development, and Virtual Immersive Reality, for an opportunity to hone your skills even further and take your studies to the next level.
