Summary
**Develop the expertise to help people manage pain and dysfunction. On successful completion of this course, you’ll be eligible to apply to become a qualified physiotherapist.**
As part of this course you’ll:
- Learn to help people of all ages to manage pain and dysfunction
- Study the core areas of neuromusculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological physiotherapy
- Practise thinking independently and problem solving in a clinical capacity
- Gain comprehensive hands-on experience through diverse clinical practice placements
- Complete a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised clinical placement experience that could include the NHS, sports clubs, schools and private clinics
**Professional regulation**
This course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and approved by the Health & Care Professions Council and will provide you with the necessary expertise and skills to become a qualified physiotherapist.
**Immunisations**
Occupational Health clearance and compliance with standard NHS immunisations requirements is mandatory and essential for placement attendance. Please click "find out more" in the fees and funding section further down this page for full details of any extra costs relating to your course.

Summary
The course allows students to gain the expertise and knowledge to become a practising physiotherapist. Covering the core areas of neuromusculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological physiotherapy students learn to think independently and problem solve in a clinical capacity. Students acquire comprehensive hands-on experience through a selection of diverse clinical practice placements, which can be based in primary and community care or hospital settings.
