Students at Liverpool Hope University have the best of both worlds; living and studying on friendly, beautiful campuses while also having the advantage of being a bus ride away from one of Europe’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
Dating back to 1844, our students always benefit from a high quality teaching and research environment. In 2018, we were proud to be awarded Gold in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
Over the last eight years, we have invested more than £60 million in new university buildings and facilities to support the creation of an enriched learning environment. Liverpool Hope University is spread across two beautifully landscaped sites. Hope Park is located in the leafy suburbs of Liverpool, while our Creative Campus sits in the middle of the city centre buzz.
Our students are at the heart of our university, demonstrated by our 1st place ranking for Student Satisfaction in the North West.
Liverpool Hope University offers a range of Taught and Research Master’s programmes, ranging from Humanities, Health Sciences and Social Sciences, Education, Liberal Arts, Business and Computer Science.

Mollie Baker (MA Education)
Moving to Liverpool was a huge step for Mollie. “The support I received from my tutors was incredible,” she explained. “They went above and beyond, spending so much time with me. I remember my first assignment was rubbish! My tutor went through it all step-by-step though, so I quickly learned what I needed to do to get it right."
Mollie went on to achieve her MA in Education at Hope and was then offered a prestigious £10,000 Newton College Scholarship and a place at Cambridge University to study for an MPhil in Education Research.

Andualem Tadesse Maereg (PhD Robotics)
“I liked Hope from the moment I arrived here,” said Andualem Tadesse Maereg when we asked him about his first impressions of the University. “The facilities are amazing, particularly the robotics lab. There’s a great range of technologies, including a Brain Computer, mobile and non-mobile robots, haptic and VR interfaces, as well as a 3D printer. There are so many opportunities to learn and explore what’s possible, it’s the perfect environment for research.”
