Postgraduate study at Leeds Arts University
Founded in 1846 as the Leeds Government School of Art and Design, Leeds Arts University has built an international reputation as one of the UK’s leading creative arts education institutions.
The University offers MA courses in Animation, Creative Practice, Digital Fashion, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration with Graphic Novel Photography and Worldbuilding with Creature Design all delivered by expert tutors who are all highly experienced in their creative field.
Whatever subject you choose you can take advantage of great industry links, providing networking and other professional opportunities, including the opportunity to hear from visiting lecturers.
You’ll have opportunities to attend events and exhibitions related to your specialism, and some courses benefit from a partnership network providing students with a residency at a partner organisation in order to enhance their skills, experience and knowledge for a career in the discipline.
Postgraduate students are based in the postgraduate hub in the University’s £22m building expansion, giving you the chance to work in a creative environment alongside students from across the different disciplines.
Postgraduate open days
Open days are a great opportunity to get the information you need when deciding to make that next step to continue your study.
Attending an open day gives you the chance to get a feel for the creative environment at Leeds Arts University, and the opportunity to chat to current students and staff to find out how the University can help you to develop your practice.
International students unable to attend an open day can find out when staff from Leeds Arts University are visiting your country, or can contact our international team for more information.
