Campus life is all about convenience, community and ensuring you have the facilities you need to succeed in your studies. Each of our four campuses have their own unique atmosphere created by the students who live and study there, and the staff who work there.
To help you reach your full potential we’re investing £118.7 million in our campuses to create the perfect study environment for you, including our landmark Town House building and major renovation project at Kingston School of Art.
Town House, located at our Penrhyn Road campus won the 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize for Britain’s best new building and the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2022. Town House provides outstanding study facilities for students, including a new library with over 1,000 study spaces, flexible learning areas, a covered courtyard, cafes, dance studios and roof top gardens.
Whether it's Kingston Hill's woodland trail or the riverside at Knights Park, each of our campuses offer something special. Linked together by our free intersite bus service, they each combine impressive facilities with a friendly study environment. Plus, all the amenities that make day-to-day life just that little bit easier are at your fingertips – from bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops to laundrettes, contemporary and spacious social spaces and even an on-site gym.
Our major refurbishment at Kingston School of Art’s Knights Park campus has been designed to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and deliver much improved workshop and studio space while enhancing the environmental performance of the building.
The transformed Mill Street Building offers two floors of industry-leading workshop spaces, including new double height space for architecture students to be able to create larger scale project. There are also four floors of modern professional-grade studio spaces and a rooftop balcony area so you can take in some fresh air or gaze into the horizon when searching for inspiration.
