We’re Keele University and We’re Different
Founded more than 60 years ago to meet the demands of a new kind of society, economy and world, our principles resonate now more than ever.

Our Campus
Keele UniversityWe are a campus university, nestled in 600 acres of countryside in the heart of the UK. Many of our students and a number of our staff live, as well as study and work here. It’s a big campus but a small and cosmopolitan community. We operate on a human scale, providing people the space to think and plenty to do, with a vast array of clubs, societies, activities and volunteering opportunities. We successively rank at the very top of student satisfaction surveys. This is because it’s more than a place of research and academic excellence alone, it’s vibrant and friendly too.

Your Experience
Whether it’s Health, Humanities and Social Sciences or Natural Sciences, whatever your area of study, we deliver a unique and international learning experience for our postgraduate students. Your experience will be shaped by the support we give you. Our research and teaching excellence is renowned: underpinned by a high quality curriculum, delivered by inspiring academics and enriched by everything else that goes into making a good education, great.

Our Thriving Postgraduate Community
As a postgrad, our rural campus community provides an environment that is focused, relevant and mature. You will benefit from a reputation for excellence in research. You will work closely with colleagues related to your area of study and research, alongside those from other disciplines across the university. These connections are facilitated by spaces and events where you are able to thrive. Our Institute of Liberal Arts & Sciences will provide you with a hub for debate, academic enquiry, interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as fresh thinking for the great challenges the world faces today.

It’s little wonder our students and alumni are as individual as the University itself: progressive and accomplished, clear about who they are and what they want to be, equipped to meet some of the big challenges the world today presents, for the good of society and enterprise. It’s the Keele difference.
