We place our students at the heart of what we do, because we want our students to continue to progress in their chosen career and make a positive impact in the world we live in.
Teaching excellence and globally impacting research

Study opportunities for you
We offer taught master's degrees and postgraduate research across a wide range of subject areas, along with leadership and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes. Whether you want to develop your career in Health, Humanities, Business, Social Sciences or Natural Sciences, you will benefit from the expertise of our highly respected academics, mirrored by our TEF Gold award in Teaching Excellence, who are involved with cutting-edge and innovative research across many sectors.
As a postgrad, you will work closely with colleagues related to your area of study and research, alongside those from other disciplines across the university. These connections are facilitated by spaces and events where you are able to thrive. Our interdisciplinary institutes are undertaking cutting edge research that aims to tackle some of society’s most pressing challenges. They bring students, academics and researchers together from across the University, and serve as hubs that stimulate collaboration and debate.
Our campus and thriving postgraduate community
The student body at Keele represents over 120 different nationalities, so it’s safe to say we are a welcoming campus and that we truly recognise the benefits of such a diverse population of cultures and ideas.
Keele campus is vibrant and friendly, nestled in 600 acres of countryside in the heart of the UK in Staffordshire, England. With town life on your doorstep, including Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme just a short drive away and only a 45 minutes from Manchester and 1.5 hours from London on the train, Keele offers great links to major cities.
Our campus provides a range of amenities, including accommodation, cafes, convenience shop, bank, post office, library and much more. Keele continues to score highly in student satisfaction. It is also one of the few universities that offers a Postgraduate Association (KPA), which is an equivalent SU, but specifically for our postgraduate students.
