There are many ways you can further your employability prospects and highlight your status in a crowded graduate job market. Employability is embedded throughout our courses, alongside:

a Professional Development module accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
There are four modules to choose from, each with the aim of developing your practical skills and attributes to a level increasingly demanded by employers across all business sectors. Successful completion of one of these mandatory modules could lead to a CMI professional qualification. You can use this later as an opportunity to work towards Chartered Manager status (highest award) via the qualified route, once you meet other entry criteria.
Our Talent Team also offers you a new type of professional careers support. Not only do we aim to guide you towards a successful graduate life, we also intend to serve your individual needs and aspirations by providing the right kind of careers advice, from enrolment to graduation – and beyond.
In the most recent DLHE survey, 91% of our postgraduate students were in employment or further study six months after graduating (PGT UK, 2016/17 (published 2018), signalling our commitment to making our graduates as employable as possible.
We offer a wide range of international study and work experiences, providing our students with the opportunity to combine educational activity and industry placements with social and cultural pursuits. The transformational impact these international experiences often help them to become highly employable, global ready graduates.
Our Global Leaders Programme is of particular interest to our postgraduates. This is an optional extra you can choose, in addition to your course. It’s designed to develop your global leadership skills with advanced workshops, global networking, international experience, and exposure to inspirational industry leaders. Please note, such opportunities are subject to competitive application, availability and/or meeting any applicable visa requirements.

There’s a wide range of excellent accommodation on offer to students. We offer accommodation specifically designed for postgraduate study. You can opt to live in a postgraduate room in a building shared with undergraduates, or live in a property which is specifically allocated for postgraduates.
There is a wide range of financial support available for postgraduate study, including loans, flexible payment options, discounts and scholarships.
The university considers a wide range of UK and international qualifications for entry to postgraduate courses, and assessment of qualifications are carried out by experienced admissions practitioners. As a general guide, the minimum entry requirement for a taught master’s course is the equivalent of a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or above.
