At Arden University we believe that everyone, everywhere should be able to study. For over 25 years, we’ve supported over 50,000 students and have delivered quality Higher Education that fits around our students’ lives.
Many Postgraduate students choose to study at Arden as it’s an affordable way to progress their career, and fits around their work and family life.
All our courses come with a strong focus on employability - many of which are accredited by professional bodies which means you can be sure your qualification is meeting industry standards and will be valued by employers globally.
We are proud to offer non-standard entry requirements which means your work experience and previous qualifications are taken into account. With Arden, you don’t have to put your career on hold to get your postgraduate qualification.
Finding time to study
With 24/7, multi-device, multi-media learning materials, and a leading edge ‘virtual classroom’ study portal, you can study from any place in the world at any time, as long as you can access the internet.
The amount of time you’ll spend studying each week may vary, but we usually recommend 15-20 hours a week of study time.
At Arden, we are also committed to the idea that cost shouldn’t be a barrier to your personal development. As well as our courses being reasonably priced, you can stay in control of your finances and focus on your learning with our flexible pay-as-you-go option. You may even be eligible for a student loan to cover the cost of your studies, or you have the option of exploring employee sponsorship.
We pride ourselves on our excellent support network – as well as your academic tutor, you’ll be assigned a dedicated Student Support Coordinator who will be there to help you every step of the way, from enrolment to graduation.
Since we began our journey in 1990 as the chosen partner for traditional universities to deliver their online programmes we have constantly evolved, and in 2014 we earned taught degree-awarding powers which meant that we could also proudly award our own degrees. In August 2015 we became Arden University – one of the few specialist, online learning universities to launch in the last 50 years. We’re now a leading provider of flexible, online and blended learning.
We have 500+ employees supporting more than 9,000 students globally online and at our six study centres in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Berlin. At Arden, we see student learning opportunities as the key to embedding knowledge and helping to grow and develop Graduates that are fit and ready for the workplace. We are really pleased that this has been recognised in the National Student Survey 2020 results.
Our Arden University student community is a very special one, and very different to the student community seen in a traditional University. Our learners come from across the UK and from all over the world; from as far afield as the Bahamas, the Middle East and the Philippines. Together they form a truly global community. They bring a diverse range of life experiences, well-developed opinions, existing professional networks and a strong motivation to both engage with, and apply, their learning. In doing so they create real impact in their workplaces and their communities.
At Arden, we believe that improving the digital capability of the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our society is key to people’s ability to thrive in the economies of today and the future. We believe that future global graduates should be supported with the skills to harness the power of technology – whatever their chosen career path. And we recognise that Higher Education providers must proactively respond to the current and future needs, trends and expectations of employers and the economy.
