International Academy of Sports Science and Technology
The AISTS MAS - Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology - is a unique postgraduate program in sports management endorsed by the International Olympic Committee.
Held in Lausanne, Switzerland the Olympic Capital, participants are trained by experts in sport and academics, in the following multidisciplinary fields applied directly to sport:
This sports management master’s program is a 15-month program that includes in-classroom learning (lectures, case studies, activities and field trips) and two months' work experience in the sports industry, with the rest of the time spent on a client team project and research paper. This unique combination offers the ideal mix of theory and real world-experience, with participants benefitting from a rich network of connections.

The AISTS sports management degree is designed for sports-minded professionals wishing to broaden their knowledge in sports management and helps participants achieve a stronger skill set for their existing or desired career in the sports industry.

There are approximately 35 - 40 participants accepted each year and the application requirements are as follows:
- Participants must possess a university degree (must be completed at the time of application)
- Participants must be planning to pursue a career in the sports world
- Participants must be fluent in English as all lectures are given in English
- Participants should have a minimum of two years of experience directly linked to the field of sport (this can be volunteering, coaching, or other activities and does not need to be full time work. The AISTS admissions team will be able to advise)
- Participants must complete the online application form and attach all requested documentation
- Participants must be able to finance both their studies and their cost of living in Lausanne
All the application files are reviewed and decided by the AISTS Scientific Committee within six weeks after the application deadline. All the candidates are informed of the selection decision by e-mail and regular mail.

English Test Requirements
Applicants to the AISTS must submit English language exam results (TOEFL or IETLS) when applying for the AISTS to prove English fluency (written & oral).
Candidates must be fluent in written & oral English to participate in the program. All classes, coursework, and presentations will be in English. Confirmation of English ability through an exam will prove beneficial for an applicant.
- TOEFL min scores: 550 paper, 213 Computer, 85 Internet (min. 20 for each section)
- IELTS min score: 6.5

The next AISTS edition starts in September 2020.
In order to apply, you must:

- Submit all required documents (full list available on the website)
The deadlines for applications are:
- 1 November 2019
- 1 February 2020
- 1 May 2020

Course fees is CHF 29'900* (Swiss francs) *subject to change.
These are tuition fees and therefore do not include the costs of travel, board and lodging (estimated at 2,200 CHF per month).

There are two scholarships available for the next AISTS edition:
AISTS Future Female Leader in Sport Scholarship
The AISTS Future Female Leader in Sport Scholarship aims at creating more opportunities for women in sport by offering one female candidate, who wishes to pursue a career in the sport industry, a reduction of half of the course fees. Deadline 1st February.
AISTS Athlete Scholarship
The AISTS Athlete Scholarship grants an international elite athlete the opportunity to study the AISTS MAS with a scholarship of a value of half the tuition fees. This scholarship is offered to current or former athletes who have competed at an international level. Deadline 1st May.
