Modules | Study programme Painting has a two-year curriculum. The first year you will focus on exploring your possibilities in your chosen field. You will carry out your own research and studio work in our Hybrid Arts Lab. We will challenge you to explore how you can innovate and renew your own work, encouraging you to cross borders and see beyond the boundaries you are used to. This is also a year of reflection: you will learn to see your own work and that of the other students in another light. The second year is focused on your graduation research project. You will still go to classes, but not as often as in your first year. Encouraged by your supervisors you will carry out your own research project and write your thesis. There will be plenty of opportunities to share your work with others and reflect on what it is you want to do. Your graduation consists of a graduation work and a master thesis, showing your analytical skills, critical view and ability to reflect on your own work and that of others. You will also show your research skills. During a public graduation you will present your artistic work and your master thesis. |
