Summary
The programme investigates the dynamic relationship between digital technology and contemporary culture. We consider how the evolving media landscape is transforming the form and content of the things we read and watch, and how digital technology is changing the ways we write and learn. It provides an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge theoretical debates and practical advances in digital culture.
This course is particularly relevant to people already working in, or looking to develop a career in teaching, digital media, information science and the knowledge economy more widely.
This course provides a range of skills relevant across a variety of different professions. People who have completed this course have gone on to work in areas including media, lecturing, language teaching, academic support and marketing.
If you wish to continue studying beyond this course, it will provide you with a strong academic basis to do so. Course progression routes could include Ph.D study.
