What our students say
“I’ve learned a lot about why the world is the way it is. There’s the ideal mix of theory and practical case study work, which helps make sense of the world, and I’m planning to get into political or governmental work this has been incredibly useful in forming my understanding of how global politics works.” James Jennion, MA International Relations

“The global development course in the University of Leeds is the best course I have studied so far. Currently my favourite element is Conflict and Insurgency in South East Asia, which greatly broadened my view about conflicts in South East Asia and how their legacies generate developmental issues. I have gained a deeper understanding of the Southeast Asian political situation, alongside the guidance of the professional and leading researcher.” Jian Fang Yang, MA Global Development and Education
