The Sensors Electronic Warfare PgCert has been designed for officers of the Armed Forces and for scientists and technical officers in government defence establishments and the defence industry. The programme covers a selection of Electronic Warfare (EW) topics relevant to military systems, covering the specification, analysis, development, procurement, and technical management of military radar, electro-optics and infrared sensor systems. The main focus of the programme being EW in relation to sensor systems, requires a good understanding of these systems before going on to consider how to defend them from electronic attack or intercept.

Other recognised professional qualifications or several years relevant industrial experience may be accepted as equivalent; subject to approval by the Course Director.
