Do you want to enhance your knowledge or progress your career in researching and designing for wellbeing, healthcare and related fields? Would you like flexibility and the possibility of combining your work with education, all online? This unique online MA in Interior Design for Health and Wellbeing is suited for graduates and professionals who want to do just that.
The need for designing for wellbeing at home, the workplace, leisure, hospitality, healthcare environments and retail has become highly relevant in the current design industry. To enhance and protect peoples living, caring and working environment is now, and will be, a growing part of a designer’s role.
This flexible online course is offered over one or two years and is accredited by SBID, (Society of British and International Design). All students who enrol on the course are eligible for free SBID student membership. Students are eligible for the same benefits as an SBID Associate member but without the fees.
This fantastic opportunity allows you to focus on designing interiors, products or buildings, plus solutions and spaces for occupants’ health, in a variety of self-selected environments.
Linked to the SBID Healthcare Council, which consists of experts across the healthcare design sector, current healthcare research programmes such as dementia, wellness, infection control and equality compliance are integrated into the course.
During the course you can have contact with several key educators, active researchers and a range of industry professionals across all disciplinaries of both design and wellbeing.
