Postgrad Christmas planning!
When it comes to Christmas, you will probably want to take a break from studying and spend time with your family and friends. You may also choose to spend some time working to earn money for the coming year.
The main decision you will need to make is whether or not to go home for the Christmas break. Going home will give you a good opportunity to catch up with your family, as well as meeting up with your old friends. You might also enjoy having your meals cooked for you! Spending Christmas at home could be a wonderful break from university life.
However, you may have friends from university who you would like to spend some time with over the break. If you want to spend Christmas in your student home, but would still like to see your family, you could invite them to spend Christmas with you. This will depend on your living situation, as you will need space to entertain guests and your housemates will need to be in agreement. If this is a suitable option, you will need to start planning your menu. Your relatives may be staying for a few days if they do not live nearby, so you will need to plan meals in addition to your Christmas dinner.
