Summary
This module will enable clinicians to recognise what is needed to develop and deliver rehabilitative services for people with tinnitus, and related difficulties such as hyperacusis. It will enable students to develop a systematic understanding and critical awareness in managing patients/clients with tinnitus and/or hyperacusis.
Following successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate critical awareness of the clinical applicability of current tinnitus research in managing tinnitus patients/clients
- Demonstrate independence in researching, planning and writing assignments
- Demonstrate recognition of the elements required in the delivery of a patient/client centred service
- Communicate clearly and concisely using advanced concepts and terminology.
