The School of Organisations, Economy and Society (SOES) welcomes applicants who would like to carry out research in the broad areas of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Management.

| Entry requirements | Applicants should have a minimum classification of 2.1 in their first degree or equivalent and preferably a master's degree (or masters degree pending). Applicants whose first degree has not been studied in English should have IELTS 6.5 overall and 6.0 in all elements. Submissions for this award will consist of a coherent body of work which is of the same quality, rigour and volume as required of a standard PhD in your field and which constitutes an original contribution to knowledge. Publications considered appropriate for this route can include books and book chapters, refereed journal papers. The body of work may not include any material produced more than ten years before the date of submission. Applicants need to submit a research proposal of 2000 words which should include a list of applicant's publications with dates, word count, percentage of contribution for any collaborative work and confirmation from co-authors of this percentage. References are normally required and if not provided with your application will be requested at a later date. |
