Warwick's MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship combines industry leading approaches in venture design, with the skills needed to launch and grow innovative, digitally enabled and technology-driven businesses.
This collaborative programme designed by WMG and taught in partnership with Warwick Business School, draws on the best expertise in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Course Overview Designed for innovators eager to make an impact on the worlds of commerce and industry, whilst keeping in view the demands being placed on businesses to remain socio-economically responsible. This course will benefit those who want to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and implement transformative solutions, be that within a start-up, an established family business, or even a major conglomerate. You will apply leading edge approaches to assess emerging opportunities in new markets, industries and geographies.
It is a practical course, covering the new venturing process from generating new business ideas, understanding market trends, applying new technology, and designing the infrastructure, right through to launching the business. You will focus on how innovation can be exploited to design leading-edge new products and services.
Themes covered include business modelling, disruptive thinking, product design, growth hacking, corporate venturing, and financial analysis. Throughout your final project, you will be mentored to develop your own business idea, so that by the end of the course you will be in a strong position to launch your own business, or rejuvenate an existing one.
Our focus on building key competencies through start-up simulations, industry engagement and experiential learning style helps students in bringing their new venture visions to fruition. You will gain a wide array of skills from 3D printing, digital content creation, idea pivoting to sales. You'll also have numerous opportunities to pitch your ideas, take part in contests, and explore start-up ecosystems.
