This course is for enthusiastic mathematicians with an undergraduate mathematics, physics or statistics degree, providing you with a chance to further develop your knowledge. If your academic background is not in these areas, this course could still appeal if you are a strong mathematician looking for a return to formal education.
Your studies will include a mix of lecture-based modules and independent research. The Diploma + MSc option gives you the opportunity to work on a project in your first year before you progress to your dissertation in the second year. This course paves the way to employment in many sectors of the economy or enables you to continue on your path of becoming a research mathematician of the future.
