| Entry requirements | The entry requirements are based on the requirements set by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). All applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements before the course starts. The minimum entry requirements that we ask for are a degree validated by a higher education institution in the United Kingdom or a degree of an equivalent standard from an institution outside the United Kingdom. This degree should contain at least 80 credits relevant to the subject you wish to study and you must be able to demonstrate an appropriate knowledge of this area of study. An ordinary degree, or international equivalent. All applicants demonstrating the required entry requirements will be invited to an interview with a subject leader. Evidence that the applicant has also studied at least two of the following areas (as well as Mathematics and English): science, social studies, expressive arts, religious and moral education, technology, languages. We encourage you to apply even if you do not have any of the above so that your application can be assessed as a whole by our team. |
