Summary
Electronic engineering powers the technologies that shape our world — from smartphones and renewable energy systems to autonomous vehicles and high-speed communication networks. This one-year MSc in Electronic Engineering gives you the opportunity to specialise and innovate. You will have the flexibility to tailor your studies by choosing modules across four specialist fields: microelectronics, semiconductor nanotechnology, wireless communications, and control systems. Through a combination of advanced lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and an individual research project, you will deepen your expertise in one or more of these areas and prepare for a career at the forefront of global technological development.
You'll be joining a department where our research is changing the world, with 97% of our Engineering research rated world leading or internationally excellent (REF 2021).
