Summary
Nottingham Digestive Diseases Centre (NDDC) comprises of one of the largest groups in the country of academics, National Health Service (NHS) associates and support staff encompassing the breadth and depth of gastroenterology, hepatology, surgery, endoscopy, pathology and radiology.
Our goal is to discover novel mechanisms underlying the health and disorders related to the digestive system. We collaborate with patients, volunteers, industry partners, regulators and policy makers to develop innovative tests, devices and interventions to prevent and treat diseases.
NDDC hosts the Gastrointestinal and Liver Disorders theme of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).
