Our world-leading research spans across several disciplines with a wide range of research and clinical expertise.
We focus on the nature, causes and impact of mental health conditions, and the development and evaluation of innovative treatments, particularly in the areas of:

adult and older mental health

dementia

forensic mental health

mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders

mental health and technology.
We are a multi-disciplinary group of psychologists, psychiatrists, health service researchers, health economists, implementation scientists and technologists. We collaborate closely with other research institutions, healthcare and social care providers/services, people with lived experiences, the voluntary sector and industry partners.
