Supervision Supervision is provided by research-active staff. With over 10 years experience in running distance learning degrees the department will provide the support you need.
Libraries You will have full access to the University's library systems and resources. We have agreements with other universities, which permit you to use the library facilities at the institution nearest your home.
Researcher Academy The university has many distance-learning and part-time researchers so you'll be part of a large community for support and to share experiences - nottingham.ac.uk/researcher-academy
Visiting us There is no need to visit the university in person to successfully complete your research. However, we will be delighted to see you if you are able to visit – simply arrange with your supervisor the best time for a visit.

This PhD is a companion to our 'Theology PhD by distance learning'. The support and supervision on offer in both is identical but the one you apply for may help local funding applications.
