Riverine and estuarine systems are in continual flux as they interact with the physical environment, climatic conditions and human factors. Our Riverine and Estuarine Processes MRes is designed to meet the growing demand from governments and engineers worldwide for a more in-depth understanding of these systems; as the climate is changing, the human population increasing, and severe floods, erosion and water scarcity become more common.
You will develop your own research pathway, building your research skills by exploring topics such as flood management, fluvial processes and morphology, river habitat health and river/human interactions.
