University of Strathclyde is offering EU Transition Scholarships
The University of Strathclyde is delighted to be offering EU Transition Scholarships worth up to £10,000 to support full-time students starting taught courses from August 2021.
This fantastic funding opportunity is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students from the European Union planning to study at the University of Strathclyde after this summer. As a leading international technological university, the University of Strathclyde has always attracted talented students from the European Union and around the world. Now that the UK has left the EU, students from the EU are no longer eligible to claim home fee status in relation to the tuition fees, so to help address the additional financial implications for current applicants from the EU, the University of Strathclyde has launched its EU Transition Scholarships to support full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students commencing taught courses from August 2021.
EU Transition Scholarships for Postgraduate Taught Courses will be awarded to students who meet the eligibility criteria at the following rates:
- £5,000-£7,000 for Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences courses – dependent on subject area.
- £7,000-10,000 for Strathclyde Business School – dependent on subject area (excluding MBA).
- £8,000 for Faculty of Engineering.
- £7,000-£10,000 for Faculty of Science – dependent on subject area.
Eligible EU students will be identified through their application to study and will be emailed by the university if they are awarded the scholarship.
