University of Liverpool Management School receives AMBA accreditation
The Management School at the University of Liverpool has officially received accreditation from Association of MBAs (AMBA).
This recognition from the internationally regarded AMBAs places the University of Liverpool Management School among the global elite, as AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education.
The AMBA accreditation panel commended the Management School’s strong connection to industry, particularly with companies in the football and horseracing industries.
Speaking abut this prestigious achievement, Management School Dean, Professor Julia Balogun, enthuses, “The University of Liverpool Management School is delighted to be joining the group of globally elite Management Schools carrying the triple crown accreditation of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.”
Professor Balogun continues, “The AMBA accreditation covers not just the full-time Liverpool MBA Program, ranked in The Economist WhichMBA? top 100 Global Ranking, but also our unique Football Industries and Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries MBAs, supported by our Research Centre in Sports Business.”
The panel of experts at AMBA also commended the Management School for the range of activities that its corporate partners engage in, including curriculum development, research projects, alumni activities and student scholarships. The panel also applauded the strong and collegiate culture at the Management School, together with staff initiatives, and its quick response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
AMBA has accredited the University of Liverpool Management School’s Liverpool MBA, Football Industries MBA and Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries MBA.
Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA), Andrew Main Wilson, explains: “I am delighted that the University of Liverpool Management School has been accredited by the Association of MBAs. The School is world renowned for its excellence. AMBA only accredits the top 2% of Business Schools globally and it is therefore fitting that this School has been accredited.” He continues, “I would like to congratulate everyone at the School who worked towards this accreditation and I am looking forward to working with the School in the future.”
