University of Liverpool Management School launches MSc eSports Business
The University of Liverpool Management School is delighted to announce the launch of its MSc in eSports Business – an excellent addition to the university’s portfolio of forward-thinking programs at the intersection of business, digital innovation and the creative industries.
The global eSports sector blends competitive gaming, media, technology and sport into a truly international industry – it is one of the fastest-growing areas of the entertainment economy.
Welcoming its first cohort in September 2026, the MSc in eSports Business will equip students with the strategic, analytical and creative skills to succeed in esports, gaming and digital media, as well as in the wider sports business environment.
This new course will be delivered full time over one year, and will provide students with an in-depth exploration of esports business models, marketing and branding, sponsorship, analytics and digital innovation.
