Goldsmiths graduate shortlisted for Turner Prize
A Masters in Fine Art graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London has been shortlisted for the Turner Prize 2025.
Painter, Mohammed Sami, graduated from Goldsmiths in 2018, and his shortlisting continues the university’s long association with the Turner Prize since the art award was launched in 1984. To date, nine Goldsmiths graduates have won the Turner Prize, including artist Damian Hirst in 1995 and film director Steve McQueen in 1999.
The winner of the Turner Prize is awarded £25,000 and the shortlisted artists get £10,000 each.
The winner will be announced in December.
