A rich academic environment
Goldsmiths is in the UK’s top 25 research intensive universities (REF 2014, THE research intensity ranking), and our academics are asking the questions that have wide-reaching public impact.
We’re investigating topics including human rights violations, artificial intelligence and how autism affects aging - in ways that challenge the status quo and push interdisciplinary boundaries.

Limitless sights, one sensational city
Based in the world’s best student city (QS Best Student Cities 2018), you’ll find a wealth of culture on our doorstep. Whether you’re into the theatre, museums or eating your way around the latest street food, you’ll never be short of something to explore.

Goldsmiths isn’t just based in the heart of culture - we’re a part of it, too. Voted one of the UK’s top creative universities (Which? University 2017), we’re bringing internationally acclaimed art to our campus with the Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art, opening in September.

“London provided unique scientific, academic and cultural opportunities that I would not have had elsewhere. London is an endlessly fun and vibrant city, and a year spent there is an opportunity not to be missed!”
Daniel, MSc in Music, Mind and Brain

All of London, one campus
At Goldsmiths, nearly all of our teaching, learning and support facilities are in one place, less than 10 minutes from London Bridge station. There’s a close-knit community feel, and it’s easy to get to know other students and academics who are experts in their fields. For research students, our Graduate School provides support, training and opportunities to develop your teaching skills.

The campus is an inclusive, welcoming place made up of students from 140 countries. And once you graduate, you’ll be part of a network of over 60,000 former Goldsmiths students around the globe.

“Studying at Goldsmiths has given me the unique chance to experience a progressive, innovative, and international academic institution.”
Elisabeth, MA in Political Communications

Boundless potential, one enriching journey
Leaders, believers, creators and debaters – they’ve all studied here, and gone on to pave the way in lots of different areas. Goldsmiths graduates have won Oscars, Turner Prizes and Ivor Novello Awards to name just a few.

40% of our MA students had the opportunity to take a placement module or professional training placement in 2017-18, and our Careers Service offers additional support and guidance, even after you’ve graduated. You’ll develop your own professional networks and contacts with invited speakers and fellow students who share your interests.

Our graduates go on to shape the world, forging their own paths and working for influential organisations such as the Tate, BBC and Apple.

“My MA introduced me to such a broad range of industry professionals. Those contacts, along with the academic learning from the course, still inform my practice today – some 15 years later!”
Adrian, MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy
