Kent Business School launches a series of networking events
Kent Business Schools is launching a new series of its popular Business Soundbites networking events on Thursday 26th September 2019.
These informal networking events are designed to bring together regional businesses with University of Kent academics and students – and the first one is called ‘Breaking down barriers to achieve professional success’.
This Business Soundbite will mark the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919 by celebrating five successful female professionals working in different sectors. Five different sectors will be represented by five different speakers, they are are:
Education: Professor Karen Cox, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Kent
Construction: Rachel Sanders, BoConcept Canterbury, Chartered Quantity Surveyor
Finance: Jenni Adams, Area Director, Kent Corporate Banking, HSBC Bank Plc
Law: Caroline Armitage, corporate lawyer, Girlings Solicitors
Creative: Mehjabeen Patrick, CFO Creative England
Breaking down barriers to achieve professional success will take place from 5-830pm in the Gulbenkian Theatre on the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus. It is free to attend but spaces are limited so early booking is recommended – BOOK HERE.
