Discover a new career in AI and Data Science with University of Wolverhampton
The University of Wolverhampton is proud to announce two newly funded postgraduate conversion courses, designed to prepare you for a career in Artificial Intelligence or Data Science. These conversion courses will help students to develop the knowledge and practical experience needed to transition into a new and lucrative scientific career.
These two conversion courses are open to all UK nationals with a 2.2 undergraduate degree – even those who haven’t specialised in Computer Science. The courses will include:
· Online support sessions prior to starting, to help you upskill and prepare
· The opportunity to apply for Paid industry-supported internships
· The opportunity for female, black and disabled applicants to apply for a £10,000 scholarship (which can be claimed alongside PG loans)
There’s a particular shortage in positions in these fields from women and BAME applicants, who make up just 19% and 4% of the tech industry, respectively. That’s why the £10,000 scholarship will prioritise female, black, and disabled applicants, to motivate those from diverse backgrounds to choose occupations in these fields.
There’s a national skills shortage in two fast-growing scientific areas – Artificial Intelligence and Data Science – and these two fields have the potential to transform UK productivity, accelerate scientific discoveries, and enhance people’s lives. If you can see yourself moving into a career within a rewarding, expanding area of science, then the University of Wolverhampton’s upcoming AI and Data Science event is the perfect opportunity to discover more.
Join the next generation of AI and Data Scientists #JoinYourAIFuture book a place at this dedicated event on Thursday 30th July to find out more.
