It is also for intercalating and qualified MBBS or BDS students. You can study the course as a stand-alone qualification or as an entry route to a PhD or MD.
What you'll learn The taught part of the course includes subject-specific content in the area of drug delivery and nanomedicine. This will examine current challenges in drug delivery and how advanced formulation designs and nanotechnology can provide opportunities to enhance future treatment. You have the flexibility to select complementary modules and develop a bespoke course. You will also have training in general research principles, as well as other professional and key skills.
Your research project is the major element of the course. The project involves 24 weeks of research in an area of drug delivery and nanomedicine, supervised by expert academic researchers in your field of interest.
