Queen Elizabeth II opened the first University of Lincoln building on the Brayford Campus in 1996.
It is today home to over 16,000 students from across more than 100 countries, and is at the heart of a beautiful historic British city.
According to the latest university league tables, Lincoln is ranked 17th in the UK by the Guardian University Guide 2020 (out of 121 institutions). The institution has also been recognised for the quality of its teaching, having been awarded gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework.
