Summary

The specialism in International Banking and Finance Law will appeal to all with an interest in financial services law. It will enable you to establish or develop a career in commercial private practice. You will also be well-prepared to embark on policy-oriented careers in the financial services sectors as well as in compliance and public service. Increasingly difficult aspects of international financial regulation in the aftermath of the collapse of financial institutions in 2008 and Brexit will be addressed as will pressing global issues such as money laundering and corrupt practices.

Objectives The specialism in International Banking and Finance Law offers you the opportunity to study an important area of practice in the world’s premier financial centre, the City of London. The specialism in International Banking and Finance Law will provide you with the knowledge, skills and insight into a highly complex and increasingly significant aspect of global law and governance.

It will equip you with the fundamentals of international banking and financial law for which the City of London is so famous. The breadth and depth of the curriculum in this specialist degree are highly regarded by banking and finance professionals. You will be given the support to explore and study banking law, taxation, investments, money markets, money laundering and many more.
