Professional accreditation
This course is delivered by Kent and Medway Medical School and accredited by both Canterbury Christ Church University and the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME). Graduates of the PGCert stage are eligible to apply for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and Membership of the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME), enhancing both professional recognition and career progression.

Applicants should normally possess a relevant first degree in health/social sciences, 2:2 or above. It is essential that you undertake 100 hours of higher education teaching and learning practice involving learners who who are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level across 1 year. This teaching and learning practice can be performed within formal academic or clinical settings but must involve facilitation of learning for students who are studying on higher education programmes and can be interprofessional. |
