The aim of the programme is to develop participants’ approaches to effective teaching, learning, assessment and evaluation practices in a higher education context. In addition, the programme supports the development of the scholarship of learning and teaching.

The programme of study will focus on the delivery of Level 4 and above programmes on the Qualifications and Credits Framework (QCF) and the wider context of supporting learning and teaching in higher education.

The programme is aligned to Descriptor 2 of the UK Professional Standards Framework (Advance HE) and on successful completion of the programme, participants can claim professional recognition as a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
