Summary
Studying the Law LLM will give you a deep understanding of the legal systems that shape our society – systems designed to ensure justice, fairness and order. You’ll gain the legal skills to make a meaningful impact in society.
You’ll also explore the wider social, political, economic and cultural forces that shape the legal landscape today.
Sussex Law School academics have expertise spanning diverse areas of law. This will allow you to tailor the content of your degree to focus on the areas of law that interest you most. Our researchers’ expertise covers everything from International Financial Law to International Human Rights Law and Criminal Law to Criminal Justice.
Many of our faculty also advise governments, international organisations and policymakers. This ensures your learning is informed by real-world experience.
