Many industries rely on business analytics to optimise operations, improve customer experiences and gain a competitive edge. Skills in business analytics, data interpretation and strategic decision-making are in increasing demand.

You’ll learn from University of Sussex Business School faculty with strong industry links. On the course you’ll:

  • gain confidence to make strategic decisions using data-driven insights

  • learn to use business analytics tools, programming languages such as Python, data visualisation software such as Tableau and AI applications for businesses

  • get experience communicating complex analytical findings through visualisation tools, reports and presentations

  • collaborate in team-based projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.

We’ll also teach you about ethical and sustainable data practices. You’ll be able to assess the ethical, social and legal implications of business analytics in a global context.

The course includes a consultancy project. You’ll work with a business to analyse complex datasets, identify challenges and develop actionable insights. You’ll also learn through guest lectures and industry seminars.
