Our MSc Behavioural Science will teach you how to use behavioural insights to better understand and change behaviour. We give you a broad overview of psychology, behavioural economics and statistics. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to contribute with innovative solutions needed by businesses, government and society.

Gain skills for a career in behavioural science Study the latest behavioural science theories and methodologies. Analyse behavioural data from experiments and surveys with R, statistical programmes and regression models. Solve practical challenges in areas you are interested in. You can design your own experiments and write policy briefs. You will learn to engage stakeholders and moderate a behavioural challenge workshop.
You will have the opportunity to work on real life examples. Many graduates work with their employers or other businesses on collaborative projects that are relevant to their work.

Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply. If the applicant does not meet the required score it may be possible to register for 1 of our pre-sessional English courses. To register applicants must hold a conditional offer for a course and have an IELTS score 0.5 or 1.0 below the required standard. |

Our pioneering Masters in Behavioural Science for Management will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of behavioural science and behavioural economics, and how this can be applied to predict the decisions of consumers, firms, citizens and regulators.
What we offer We'll teach you how to apply behavioural science in practice. Our recent students have worked on projects with Siemens, Tesco, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Volunteer Scotland, and Iceland’s Cancer Detection Clinic.
Our course motivates you to apply behavioural science to answer some of the biggest questions facing society – for example, ‘how can we improve people’s wellbeing?’, ‘how can we help people save more for the future?’, and ‘how can we foster more effective environmental behaviours?’. In addition, each year we award the Keep Scotland Beautiful Prize for Best Research in Behavioural Science relating to the Environment.
